How far in advance should I book?
For peak season (July and August) we strongly recommend booking at least 3–4 weeks in advance. both vessels and popular tour dates fill early. For shoulder season (May, June, September, October) a week's notice is usually sufficient, though earlier is always better. Off-season bookings can often be arranged at short notice.
Do you need a VHF radio licence for bareboat rental?
No. neither of our rental vessels is fitted with a VHF radio, so a VHF radio certificate is not required when renting with us. Your navigation licence alone is sufficient for a bareboat charter. If you are renting elsewhere in Croatia and the vessel has a VHF radio, a Short Range Certificate (SRC) is required by Croatian law.
Which international boating licences are accepted in Croatia?
Croatia recognises licences from over 139 countries under bilateral agreements. The most widely accepted are RYA (UK), ICC (international), IYT, ASA/USSA (USA), and German/Austrian national certificates (Sportküstenschifferschein, Sportbootführerschein). Is there parking near Rab City Marina?
Yes. public parking is available within a short walk of Rab City Marina. The town of Rab is compact and walkable, and the harbour area is easily accessible on foot from most accommodation in the old town and surrounding area.
What islands can I reach from Rab in a day?
Comfortably within a day return from Rab: Cres (~30 min), Mali Lošinj (~45 min), Susak (~50 min), Pag (~35 min), and Dolfin islets (~25 min). The entire Kvarner Bay archipelago is accessible. Our guided 5 Islands Tour covers all five in a single full day.
Is a guided tour available for guests without a boating licence?
Yes. all of our guided tours (5 Islands, Half Day, Sunset, and Custom) are fully skippered. No boating licence is needed. Our licensed skipper handles all navigation and safety while you enjoy the journey. If you have a licence and prefer to drive yourself, bareboat rental is also available.

We're a team of young professionals who grew up on the water around Rab. Since 2018 we've been offering boat rental and private tours across Kvarner Bay. Built on local knowledge, personal service, and a genuine love for the Northern Adriatic.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a boating licence for rental?
For bareboat (self-drive) rental, a valid Croatian or EU-recognised boating licence is required. If you don't hold a licence, we can arrange a licensed skipper. Contact us for skippered rental rates. No licence is needed for our guided tours.
Are tour prices per person or per boat?
All tour prices are per tour (per boat). not per person. The 5 Islands Tour starts from €390 for the whole boat, the Half Day Tour from €240. Prices may vary by season and group size.
What's included in the tour price?
Everything: your expert skipper, full fuel, bottled water, soft drinks, on-board Bluetooth sound system (4 speakers, USB, MP3), and a shower on board.
How do I confirm a booking?
Send an enquiry via the form or WhatsApp. We confirm availability and send a 30% deposit invoice. Once the deposit is received, your date is secured. The balance is paid at the marina on the day.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel, the 30% deposit is non-refundable. If we cancel due to bad weather or unsafe sea conditions, we will either reschedule to a date that suits you or provide a full refund. your choice.
Where exactly do we depart?
We depart from Rab City Marina. Šetalište M.D. Dominisa 4, at the bottom of Rab's harbour bay. A pickup point can also be arranged on request. Just let us know when booking.
Can children join the tours?
Absolutely. families are very welcome. The Half Day Tour is particularly well suited to families with children. Please mention the ages of your children when booking so we prepare appropriate life jackets and snorkel gear.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes suited to the weather, high-factor sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses, a swimsuit and towel. We provide all snorkelling equipment, water and soft drinks. Feel free to bring your own food or drinks too.
